Unidentified individuals set fire to judge’s vehicle in Taiz

TAIZ, Feb. 19 (YPA) – Unidentified individuals set fire to a vehicle belonging to Judge Munir Al-Tayyar from the “Criminal Division” in areas, which are under the control of the Islah Party factions in Taiz province.

Local sources reported that unidentified individuals on a motorcycle poured gasoline on the car and set it on fire near the Safir station in the Al-Dhaboua Al-Sufla neighborhood in Al-Qahirah district in the city center.

The sources indicated that the attackers managed to flee to an unknown destination.

The incident has drawn outrage and condemnation across the city.

The motives behind the attack are still unknown at the moment. However, it occurs within the context of the ongoing security chaos that has plagued these areas since 2016.
