SANAA, Feb. 19 (YPA) – Southern military expert Khaled Al-Nasi has said that “the role of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) has been dwarfed to the point that betting on it today is betting on the impossible.”
Al-Nasi explained that the reality of the STC today appeared with its exclusion and exit from the circle of partnership and political equation in a clear manner and with the admission of its leaders.
“The Transitional Council has become shackled on the sidelines in the Presidential Leadership Council headed by Rashad Al-Alimi,” Al-Nasi said.
He added in a post on the “X” platform on Tuesday that the STC leaders stand unable to provide any services to citizens, except for their repeated demands to the Leadership Council and the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition from the “Yemeni forces” to return to Aden to provide basic services to citizens.
Al-Nasi pointed out that the STC leaders do not want the people of Aden to go out to the streets to demand their legitimate rights, as if they want them to stay in their homes and die of hunger and oppression in order to preserve their interests.
