New US reinforcements arrive to northeastern Syria

SANAA, Feb. 16 (YPA) – The US forces sent a new batch of military reinforcements towards their military bases in northeastern Syria, bringing their total military reinforcements in less than two weeks to 4.

The Syrian Observatory reported that a military aircraft loaded with advanced weapons and military equipment, including anti-aircraft systems and jamming devices, landed at the Kharab al-Jir base in the countryside of Rmelan, northern Syria, with the aim of strengthening its military presence in the region.

The observatory explained that this operation comes within the framework of ongoing reinforcements by the United States to its bases in northeastern Syria, reflecting the military escalation in the region.

It is worth noting that last month, the US forces sent 12 military reinforcements to Syria from their bases in Iraq.
