Revolutionary Movement calls on people of Mahra to confront foreign forces

MAHRA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – The head of the Southern Revolutionary Movement Council in Mahra governorate, Mohsen Shajul, confirmed, on Thursday, that the Saudi and American military mobilization in Mahra aims to destabilize the security and stability of the governorate.

Shajoul accused Saudi Arabia of seeking to turn Al-Mahra into a fertile ground for Takfiri terrorist elements and foreign presence, warning against drowning Al-Mahra in chaos and bloody conflicts between its people and tearing apart the Mahri social fabric.

He announced in a statement circulated by the council’s account on the “Facebook” platform his strong rejection of the arrival of a new batch of American forces to Al-Ghaydah, coinciding with Saudi Arabia’s sending of the “Homeland Shield” factions, which they established from extremist Salafist elements.

He also held the coalition and the leadership council fully responsible for the consequences of what will happen in Mahra, calling on the political and tribal parties and all the free people of Mahra to unite their ranks, work, confront those factions, and expel foreign forces.
