Five civilians injured in Saudi attacks on Yemen’s border areas
SAADA, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Five civilians, including African migrants, were injured in Saudi attacks on border areas in Yemen’s Saada province on Monday.
Local sources reported that four civilians were wounded in Saudi army shelling on the Al-Raqu and Al-Sheikh areas in the Monabbih district, while another civilian was injured by Saudi gunfire in the Al-Thabet area of the Qatabir district.
The border regions of Saada have been witnessing continued attacks by the Saudi military, resulting in thousands of casualties and widespread destruction of residents’ properties.
Saada’s police department announced that 1,117 civilians were killed in 2024 due to 1,015 violations by the Saudi military, despite the agreement on de-escalation and a ceasefire.
