Israeli occupation continues its aggression on Jenin for 21st day as 25 Palestinians are killed

WEST Bank, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Israeli occupation continues the aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 21st consecutive day, which has so far killed 25 Palestinians and left dozens of injuries.

Yesterday, a small number of journalists and civilians were able to enter Al-Hawashin neighborhood, the camp square, and Al-Samran neighborhood, where the extent of the destruction was very massive and unprecedented, as the occupation destroyed all the citizens’ properties, their shops, and their homes, and turned the streets into squares of ruin and rubble.

Jenin Assistant Governor Mansour Al-Saadi said in a press statement yesterday that the occupation completely destroyed the Jenin camp, and displaced about 20,000 people from inside it.

The occupation soldiers opened fire on the journalists present in the Jenin camp, detained a group of them, interrogated them, confiscated their phones, and prevented them from returning to the camp.

The occupation continues to demolish and burn the homes of citizens in the camp, amid intensive flying of drones.

Israeli military vehicles continue to besiege Jenin Governmental Hospital after bulldozing its entrance and the main street leading to it.

For the 21st consecutive day, the hospital departments are suffering from a severe shortage of potable water, while the necessary hospital departments are operating at their minimum capacity due to the occupation’s aggression that makes it difficult for patients to reach it.

The occupation forces detained four citizens from the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, at dawn today, after besieging and burning a house.

They also destroyed the contents of another house and smashed a shop.

The occupation continues to send military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers to the city of Jenin and the surroundings of the camp.
