Euro-Med Monitor: At least 110 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire in Gaza

GAZA, Feb. 08 (YPA) – The Euro-Med for Human Rights revealed that the occupation continues to commit the crime of genocide in the Gaza Strip, despite the announcement of a ceasefire on January 19, 2025, by imposing catastrophic living conditions on Palestinians there and depriving them of the basic necessities required for survival.

In a press statement, on Friday,  Euro-Med emphasized that Israel was not content with the mass killings and devastation it caused in the Gaza Strip over a period of more than 15 months, but it is now implementing policies that effectively kill the population by enforcing a complete illegal siege that hinders the flow of basic supplies and humanitarian aid, prevents the repair of essential infrastructure, and denies the provision of basic services that are essential to the population’s survival.

“Israeli occupation is well aware of the terrible impact that its unlawful actions have had on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, as well as the grave and protracted repercussions that these actions entail, particularly for marginalized communities and those with challenging medical conditions. Nevertheless, in the absence of any meaningful international pressure to halt its ongoing crimes against the Palestinians, these measures are still being implemented without any reversals”, the statement read.

It warned that direct killing crimes against Palestinians are still ongoing. Although large-scale mass killings in the Gaza Strip have stopped since the ceasefire, Zionist occupation forces continue to commit these crimes against Palestinian citizens under various pretexts, all of which lack any legal justification.

According to the Euro-Med Monitor, at least 110 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire in Gaza, averaging about 6 deaths per day, with 901 others injured.
