Human Rights Watch calls on Washington to stop complicity in Gaza crimes

SANAA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – Human Rights Watch organization said, on Tuesday, that the United States continues to be complicit in serious Israeli abuses in Gaza as long as it continues to provide weapons and other military assistance.

The organization pointed out that the Israeli occupation committed war crimes, crimes against humanity, and acts of genocide during its attacks on Gaza.

According to the organization, the United States has provided security assistance to “Israel” and sold it weapons on an unprecedented scale since October 7, 2023, the date of the outbreak of the Al-Aqsa Flood.

She added that the administration of former US President Joe Biden continued to transfer weapons despite the repeated use of US weapons by Israeli forces to commit war crimes in Gaza, making the United States complicit in the illegal use of these weapons.

The organization pointed out that if President Trump wants to sever his relationship with the Biden administration’s complicity in the atrocities committed by the Israeli government in Gaza, he must immediately suspend the transfer of weapons to Israel.
