Meteorology renews warnings of cold wave in Yemen various areas

SANAA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology renewed its warnings to citizens of cold and very cold weather.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the cold weather would hit the provinces of -Bayda, Ibb, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Jawf, Saada, Marib, Dhalea, Lahj and Abyan, as well as Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, Lahj and Abyan, Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah and Taiz.

The center urged farmers to take precautions against the effects of extremely cold weather and the formation of frost and to take the necessary measures to protect crops.

It pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas would be generally clear to partly cloudy, and the winds will be active, reaching a maximum speed of 28 knots in the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
