About 20 fresh bodies recovered in Gaza’s Sheikh Zayed City

GAZA, Feb. 03 (YPA) – About 20 bodies were recovered on Monday in Sheikh Zayed City, north of the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that the death toll in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 47,498 dead and 111,592 injured.

The statement in Gaza confirmed that a number of victims were still trapped under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

The Israeli occupation’s retaliatory offensive on the Strip has killed more than 47,000 people, most of them civilians, women and children, according to the latest figures from the Gaza Health Ministry.
