WEST BANK, Jan. 31 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces besieged two homes in the city of Tulkarm last night, opening heavy gunfire and deploying surveillance drones at low altitudes, WAFA news agency reported .
According to WAFA, Israeli occupation forces surrounded a house in the Al-Muhandisin Housing area east of the city, using loudspeakers to demand that those inside surrender.
At the same time, a special Israeli military unit, supported by armored vehicles, besieged another house in the southern neighborhood of the city.
Local sources confirmed that the occupation forces detained two young men, Ammar and Ahmed Al-Awfi, from the house under siege in the eastern part of the city.
The occupation forces also continued to surround the Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital and Al-Israa Specialized Hospital in the city, occupying nearby high-rise commercial buildings.
Ambulances and medical teams have faced severe restrictions, with paramedics subjected to searches and field interrogations.
Additionally, the occupation forces have been detonating homes inside the besieged Tulkarm refugee camp for the fifth consecutive day.
Residents were forcibly evacuated at gunpoint before their homes were blown up. Explosions and fires continue to be heard intermittently throughout the camp.
