Hamas: The return of displaced to northern Gaza Strip is defeat for occupation and victory for our people

GAZA, Jan. 27 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said, on Monday, that the return of displaced Palestinians to northern Gaza is “a victory for our people and a declaration of the failure and defeat of the occupation and displacement plans.”

Hamas said in a statement: “The scenes of the return of the masses of our people to the areas from which they were forced to flee, despite their destroyed homes, confirm the greatness of our people and their steadfastness in their land, despite the depth of the pain and tragedy.”

She added: “These scenes filled with the joy of return, love of the land and adherence to it are a message to all those who are betting on breaking the will of our people and displacing them from their land.”

“We confirm that the return of our displaced people to their homes proves once again the failure of the occupation to achieve its aggressive goals of displacing our people and breaking their will to stand firm,” Hamas added.

The movement stressed, saying: “We stand with our great people in this historic moment, and we call for intensifying the arrival of all aid and relief supplies to all areas of the Gaza Strip.
