Bosnia and Herzegovina celebrates ceasefire agreement in Gaza

SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, witnessed a demonstration to celebrate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and to denounce the Israeli attacks on the Palestinians.

Protesters gathered in front of the “Basharshiya” area, where they denounced the Israeli attacks on Gaza before the ceasefire.

The participants raised the Palestinian flags and chanted the slogan “Today a truce, tomorrow freedom”, expressing their hope that Palestine will achieve its freedom.

The demonstration also witnessed the recitation of prayers for the souls of the victims killed in the Israeli attacks on Gaza, in addition to reciting poems and singing songs expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.

At the end of the event, the organizers distributed food and sweets to the participants, in addition to presenting them with gifts bearing the Palestinian flag.
