Nasr al-Din Amer: Washington’s designation of Ansarullah as terrorist will fail as it failed at sea

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – Nasr al-Din Amer, the deputy head of the media department for “Ansarullah,” confirmed that Washington’s inclusion of Ansarullah on the list of terrorist organizations will fail as it failed at sea.

“If America classified us on the list of friends, this would be more dangerous and more provocative for us than classifying us on its lists of terrorism, which is more dangerous in this world and the hereafter,” Nasr al-Din Amer wrote on the social media platform “X”.

He continued, “As for us in Ansar Allah, we have no investments, no assets, no companies, and we don’t travel to America. Personally, I only have this account on X, which they might shut down or remove the blue check from.”

He added, “The target of the decision is the Yemeni people because of their support for Gaza, and this is a very great honor for our people and part of their jihad.”

“Practically, this designation happened before, and it had no significant effect that would force the Yemeni people to surrender. Then, it was canceled, and it also had no significant effect. Therefore, it will fail now, just as the Americans failed in the sea.”

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order to re-designate the “Ansarullah” movement as a terrorist organization, according to the document issued by the White House.
