GAZA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since the ceasefire was announced has reached 122 dead, with 270 wounded.
The Gaza-based Civil Defense said in a statement of the total death toll, 33 were children and 33 were women.
For its part, the Ministry of Health in Gaza declared earlier that at least 46,899 civilians from the Israeli aggression on the Strip have been killed and 110,725 wounded since Oct 7, 2023.
Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani announced last week that a ceasefire deal had been reached to exchange prisoners and cease fire in the Gaza Strip between the Israeli enemy and Hamas.
Earlier, Hamas Movement said the agreement was “the fruit of the legendary steadfastness of the great Palestinian people and the valiant resistance in the Gaza Strip, for more than 15 months.”
