Israeli occupation sentences wounded child to 20 years in prison

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 17 (YPA) – An Israeli occupation court has sentenced the wounded Jerusalemite child, Muhammad Basil Zalbani, 15 years old, to 20 years in prison, on charges of carrying out a stabbing attack at the Shuafat camp checkpoint in occupied Quds (Jerusalem).

The child, Zalbani, was arrested on February 13, 2023, when he was 13 years old, while he was on a bus at the entrance to Shuafat camp, after he was shot by the occupation forces.

On November 8, 2023, the occupation authorities blew up his family’s home in Shuafat camp, and arrested his father, mother, and brother as part of a series of escalating measures.
