FM receives credentials of new ICRC mission head in Yemen

SANAA, Jan. 14  (YPA) -The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jamal Ahmed Amer, received the credentials of Christine Cipolla , the new head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission.

In the meeting, During the meeting, Minister Amer welcomed the new head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission, confirming that she and the international mission would receive full support and facilitation.

 He expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the former head of the ICRC mission, wishing him success in his future endeavors.

The Foreign Minister praised the ICRC’s role in implementing numerous humanitarian projects and its important efforts in emergency humanitarian response over the past years.

For her part, Head Christine Cipolla, the head of the ICRC mission, explained that she would work to strengthen cooperation between the Foreign Ministry of Sanaa and the ICRC, providing the necessary assistance, including addressing emergency situations.
