Hadramout judges announce continuation of strike

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 11 (YPA) – Judges and employees in Hadramout province announced on Friday the continuation of their open strike to protest living conditions and the neglect of their demands by the “Judicial Council” loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Aden.

The judges confirmed in a joint statement that they will continue the strike until their legitimate demands are met, which include improving salaries, providing the necessary supplies to perform their duties, and addressing the administrative and legal problems they are suffering from.

The statement indicated that judges and employees in Hadramout were forced to resort to this measure after exhausting all peaceful means to resolve their issues.

The continuation of the judges strike in Hadramout will disrupt the work of the courts and delay the adjudication of cases, which may increase the suffering of citizens.
