Bus catches fire in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 08 (YPA) – Activists on social media platforms shared a video showing a bus catching fire in the city of Taiz, which is under the control of Saudi-led coalition forces, after its fuel was converted to operate on domestic gas instead of gasoline.

They pointed out that the incident took place on Al-Tahreer Street in the city center, was extinguished by citizens.

The incidents of fires in buses have increased due to the conversion of their fuel from gasoline to domestic gas in unsafe ways and without following safety procedures.
