OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 06 (YPA) – Israeli media outlets revealed new developments on Monday, regarding the expected ceasefire agreement between the Gaza resistance and “Israel.”
The Hebrew channel “Kan” reported: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held consultations to discuss a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas.”
The channel added: “The consultations were attended by leaders of Israeli security agencies, but no final decision has been made yet regarding the dispatch of the Mossad chief to Cairo,” according to its report.
Meanwhile, Haaretz reported the latest developments regarding the exchange deal, stating: “The negotiations are for a partial, not comprehensive, agreement.”
The newspaper added: “Israeli optimism continues, and Palestinian prisoners involved in operations that resulted in the deaths of Israelis—referred to as ‘life-sentence prisoners’—will be released.”
For its part, Israel Hayom reported: “A senior Hamas official told the BBC that the movement has handed over a list of 34 Israeli prisoners who will be released in the first stage of the exchange deal. The list includes 10 female prisoners, 11 prisoners aged between 50 and 85, as well as children who were killed in Israeli attacks during the war and prisoners in serious health conditions.”
