Israeli occupation destroys homes in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Jan. (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement by destroying homes in southern Lebanon and launching mock raids while reconnaissance planes fly over Beirut.

The Russian RT correspondent reported that the occupation conducted a combing operation with heavy and medium arms towards neighborhoods in the town of Maroun al-Ras in southern Lebanon, as well as the towns of Houla, Taloussa and Bani Hayyan.

A violent explosion were heard in the town of Kfar Kila, and two houses were burned in the southern town of Bani Hayyan, while the other forces bulldozed Wadi al-Saluqi, which also raised the barricades and closed the Bani Hayyan road from the side of Wadi al-Saluqi to the south.

The sources said that the warplanes carried out fake raids in the airspace of the central sector in southern Lebanon, amidst intensive flights of reconnaissance aircraft in the airspace of Beirut and the southern suburb.
