Al-Houthi warns Saudi Arabia against getting involved in escalation with Yemen
SANAA, Dec. 30 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has addressed a strong fiery message to Saudi Arabia, advising it not to get involved in the escalation with Yemen.
Al-Houthi said in a post on the “X” platform: “They said that the mercenaries have a hellish plan… which is recruitment with any feeling of Saudi Arabia’s tendency towards escalation… and then demobilization under the pretext of fleeing, in addition to presenting mercenaries under the name of influential figures for approval, although they are approved only for small amounts.”
He added that Saudi Arabia should not get involved in the escalation, stressing that the battle that must be prepared for is Gaza and stopping the expansion of the Zionist entity.
Al-Houthi called on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to review the records if he wanted to confirm this, explaining that “the incendiary cards are being used in multiple ways.”
Riyadh is playing a pivotal role in its attempt to revive its mercenaries and escalate against Sanaa in a move that observers consider a response from Saudi Arabia to American and Israeli desires to support the mercenaries and direct them towards escalation.
The observers saw the Saudi support as a sudden development, given the US had previously requested Saudi Arabia to take over mercenary mobilization to pressure Yemen to stop attacks on Israeli ships in the Red Sea in exchange for Washington allowing the implementation of the agreed-upon roadmap.
