Slight rise in minimum temperatures expected in Yemen

SANAA Dec. 28 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology expected on Saturday that the weather would witness a slight rise in minimum temperatures.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that the cold weather may target the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa and Amran, Ibb, Taiz, Al Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Saada, Marib, and Jawf.

“There are indications of a slight rise in minimum temperatures over the next two days in the aforementioned areas,” the forecast added.

The center warned citizens in the highlands of cold to very cold weather during the night and early morning hours, calling on farmers to protect their crops from the effects of cold wave.
