Infants martyred in Gaza due to cold weather

GAZA, Dec. 26 (YPA) – Three infants were martyred on Thursday in the Gaza Strip, due to the cold and low temperatures in the Gaza Strip.

According to medical sources, the ages of the three newborn martyrs ranged between 4-21 days, and the food insecurity among mothers led to new cases of illness among children.

The sources affirmed that 90 percent of the population of the Gaza Strip is living a tragic life inside tents in various areas of the Strip, with no water, food, or medicine, and no heating to protect their bodies from the harsh winter cold.

The American-supported Israeli occupation has been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 153,000 martyrs and wounded, and about 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction of the infrastructure in the strip, in addition to a famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
