Nine Israeli soldiers killed, wounded in Jabalia camp

GAZA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – About nine Israeli occupation soldiers were killed and wounded in an attack that targeted their gatherings in Jabalia camp of the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Qassam Brigades announced in a statement on Sunday that it had targeted an Israeli force of nine soldiers who had barricaded inside a house with a “TBG” shell west of Jabalia camp in the northern Strip.

The statement affirmed that an occupation troop carrier was destroyed with a explosive device in the Al-Alami area in the middle of Jabalia camp, in addition to a Zionist officer was shot dead in Abu Al-Aish Street in the same camp.

A second Israeli troop carrier was also targeted the city of Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip with a “commando” explosive device.

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, affirmed that it had targeted gatherings of the occupation soldiers at the Civil Administration site east of Jabalia camp in the northern Strip with mortar shells.
