SANAA, Dec. 18 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning warned on Wednesday of a sharp decline in temperature in various areas of Yemen.
In its weather bulletin, the center expected that provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada, Ibb and Dhalea would witness in a significant drop in temperature, with frost formation.
The weather may be cold in general in parts of Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout, Mahra Abyan, Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Raymah, Hajjah, and Mahweet.
The center warned citizens of the cold and very cold weather during the night and early morning hours, especially the elderly, children and the patients.
It urged farmers to take precautions and beware of the effects of the very cold weather and the need to take the necessary measures to protect crops, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers.
