HADRAMOUT, Dec. 18 (YPA) – A number of judges submitted their resignation on Wednesday after they were appointed by the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in Hadramout province, eastern Yemen.
The judges confirmed that the appointments issued by the city of Aden to them are administrative, not judicial, and do not concern them.
They explained that they postponed submitting the resignation and gave the pro-coalition Judicial Council in Aden a final opportunity to correct and carry out its duties towards Hadramout, according to what was reported by “Al-Mahriyah Channel.”
This comes after the Council issued several decisions that included the movement of judges last month.
