Zionist warplanes continue to launch air strikes on Syria

DAMASCUS, Dec. 17 (YPA) – The Zionist warplanes have continued to wage air strikes on the countryside of the Syrian capital, Damascus, targeting military sites, which led to destroying of Syrian military capabilities and infrastructure.

Local sources said, Zionist fighter jets launched a raid on Tuesday weapons depots in the Sayyida Zeinab area in the Damascus countryside, where violent explosions were heard followed by columns of smoke rising from the targeted site.

The sources added that the enemy’s warplanes also carried out other strikes targeting the Qaldoun warehouses in the Jairoud area in the same countryside.

On Monday, the Zionist aircraft targeted weapons depots in the Tartus countryside, which has been described as the most violent since 2012, resulting in the injury of thirty-six civilians as a result of successive explosions, in addition to significant damage to civilians’ homes and the burning of their property.
