Meteorology continues to warn of cold wave sweeping Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 17 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning warned of a cold wave in a number of province of Yemen, with the possibility of frost forming.

The center stated, in its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the wave would sweep the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Ibb, Dhalea, and western Jawf.

While the weather may be cold to very cold in parts of the provinces of Marib, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, in addition to Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma and Taiz.

The center called on farmers to take precautions against the effects of the extremely cold weather and to take the necessary measures to protect crops, as well as livestock herders, beekeepers and poultry farmers.
