Israeli occupation continues to expand into Hara city neighborhoods in Quneitra countryside of Syria
DAMASCUS, Dec. 17 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces advanced on Tuesday in some neighborhoods of the city of Hatra in the Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, media outlets reported.
Meanwhile, an Israeli media platform confirmed that “Israel” occupied 370 square kilometers of Syrian territory.
The Israeli website “i24NEWS” reported that Israeli ground forces destroyed military sites and assets of the Syrian army in southern Syria.
For the sixth day in a row, the occupation army continues its annexation of Syrian lands, as it occupied the Syrian Mount Hermon and seized the “buffer zone” in the occupied Syrian Golan.
The occupation forces are now 15 km away from the international road between Damascus and Beirut; they also control the most important freshwater sources in southern Syria in the Yarmouk Basin.
The occupation continues its attacks on Syrian military sites in its effort to eliminate the fighting capacity of the Syrian army.
The Israeli enemy army reported that its attacks over the past few days “caused severe damage to the air defense system in Syria,” as it “destroyed more than 90 percent of the strategic surface-to-air missiles,” according to its claim.
