Saudi Arabia sends large military reinforcements to Aden

ADEN, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Saudi military reinforcements were seen heading towards the city of Aden, which is under the control of Saudi-led coalition in southern Yemen, on Monday, eyewitness reported.

According to eyewitnesses, around 100 various Saudi military vehicles passed through the city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwa province, heading towards Aden.

They confirmed that the reinforcements entered via the Wadea-Shabwa route, with expectations that Rashad Al-Alimi, the head of the “Presidential Leadership Council” loyal to Saudi Arabia, would return to Aden in the coming days.

Saudi Arabia is deploying its factions, “Dera Al-Watan” to secure Al-Alimi in Aden, distancing him from the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) factions following rising tensions with Aidarous Al-Zubaidi.
