5 citizens injured in violent explosion in central Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 10 (YPA) – About five citizens were injured, on Tuesday, as a result of an explosion that rocked areas under the control of the Islah factions in the city of Taiz, southern Yemen.

Local sources reported that the explosion was caused by a gas cylinder in a saloon car in the middle of Al-Moghtaribeen Street of Al-Barid neighborhood, which resulted in injury of five citizens sustaining serious injuries.

The sources reported that one of the citizens suffered severe burns and was transferred to Al-Thawra Hospital for treatment, amid material damage to the neighboring house.
