ADEN, Dec. 06 (YPA) -The political activist Mohammed Salem Mujawar revealed the secret behind the recent rapprochement between the Yemeni political parties loyal to Saudi-led coalition.
Mujawar confirmed in a post on “X” that what is happening in the southern provinces is a proxy conflict between regional and international parties.
He pointed out that the recent rapprochement between the parties indicates that the division of the “cake” between the major powers is nearing its end, referring to oil wealth, without mentioning the role of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in these divisions.
This comes after the announcement of pro-coalition political parties bloc in Aden last month, led by Ahmed Bin Daghr, according to the outputs of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) since last April, to control the institutions in the southern provinces.
Recently, the Islah Party has returned to the embrace of the leadership of the General People’s Congress (GPC) after 13 years of estrangement, following accusations from the latter that Islah destroyed the regime of the party’s leader, Ali Abdullah Saleh.
