OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Dec. 05 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces conducted raids in various cities of the occupied West Bank last night and this morning, carrying out a widespread arrest campaign targeting local residents.
In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces arrested seven citizens from the governorate early this morning, Thursday.
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the Old City and its surroundings, firing live ammunition, and raided a house, arresting one citizen.
The same sources added that Israeli forces arrested six other citizens after raiding their homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents.
In the town of Beit Furik, the occupation forces forced several families to evacuate their homes under the pretext of a suspicious object being detonated.
In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested 12 citizens. Local sources mentioned that the occupation forces arrested two citizens from the Old City of Hebron and one from the town of Samu in the south.
They also stormed several neighborhoods in the town of Beit Ummar, arresting nine citizens after raiding their homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents.
Additionally, the occupation forces raided the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin.
Local sources said that occupation vehicles entered the town from the Salem military checkpoint, raided several commercial shops, and deployed in the streets of the town.
