Islah party seizes funds allegedly for wounded soldiers in Marib

MARIB, Dec. 03 (YPA) – Dozens of injured soldiers loyal to the Saudi-led coalition held a protest on Tuesday in the city of Marib, calling for the improvement and fulfillment of their needs.

The injured individuals gathered outside the “Social Affairs” office in the city, stating that the association of the wounded, linked to the Islah Party, is raising funds with an unclear purpose and organizing activities that negatively affect the injured and threaten public security, according to their claims.

They pointed out that the association does not represent their aspirations and does not work to meet their increasing needs or provide for them.

They urged the relevant authorities to establish a committee to audit the association’s assets, clarify the whereabouts of the funds raised, and examine its expenditures.
