10 Iran Revolutionary Guards killed

SANAA, July 21 (YPA) – At least 10 members of the Iran’s Revolutionary Guards on Friday night were killed in a clash with an armed counter-revolutionary terrorist group in the Mariwan border area with Iraqi Kurdistan.

The governor of the city of Mariwan, west of Iran, Mohammad Shafi’i, said in a statement to Fars correspondent in Sanandaj that the clash also injured eight others.

In additional, an armed terrorist group opposed to the revolution has launched an attack on the headquarters of mobilization in the village of “Derry Roy”, killing and wounding a number of mobilization cadres and the Revolutionary Guard.

It is noteworthy that no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
