Israeli occupation uses cluster bombs in its recent aggression on Litani River

BEIRUT, Nov. 18 (YPA) – Israeli occupation aircraft began dropping cluster bombs during their southern raids on towns near the Litani River, including Marjeyoun, Yahmor al-Shaqif, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, al-Gharbiya, Froun, and al-Ghandouriya.

The aircraft missiles carried the bombs to the north of the river’s towns, as well as the towns south of the river, including Alman, al-Qusayr, al-Tayri, Wadi al-Hujayr, al-Qantara, and al-Taybeh.

The National News Agency in Lebanon said, “The Israeli enemy continues to violate international conventions by using cluster bombs, as it recently bombed the Litani River, outside the town of Blat, with these internationally prohibited bombs.”
