British Doctor: Israeli drones target wounded people in Gaza

LONDON, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Israeli occupation’s drones target the wounded civilians in Gaza Strip on the ground after airstrikes.

Nizam Mamode, a British professor and a former transplant surgery specialist, who served in the Gaza between August and September, and had spent time in the Nasser Hospital, said in his speech on Tuesday at a session of the International Development Committee in the British Parliament entitled “The Humanitarian Situation in Gaza.”

“After the bombs fell on a crowded place where the tents are, the drones come and shoot at the children and civilians,” he added.

Mamode said that the bullets used in drone attacks are more harmful than regular bullets.
He added, “I noticed that the bullets used in the drones enter the body and move inside it, causing many injuries.”

The British surgery specialist said that a child told him during surgery that after the bomb fell, he was lying on the ground, and a drone came, flew over and shot him.

He noted that nearly 70% of the people he was treating were women and children, pointing out that many basic medical supplies and equipment were unavailable or limited, adding that preventing the entry of medical supplies into Gaza was a deliberate act.
