Saudi Arabia patches 100 military vehicles to Sayoun city of Hadramout
HADRAMOUT, Nov. 09 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia deployed about 100 armored military vehicles from its “Dera Al-Watan” factions in Sayoun city of Hadramout province, east of Yemen, local sources reported on Saturday.
The Saudi forces command is planning to deploy these elements at the entrances to the Hadramout valley districts, aiming to remove military points belonging to the “First Military Region” brigades affiliated with the Islah Party.
The Dera Al-Watan” factions have been assigned tasks of security and military control over the valley districts, considering the recent incident of shooting on a group of Saudi officers and soldiers as an opportunity to extend their full control.
This comes after two Saudi officers were killed and others were injured inside the First Military Region command headquarters by Mohammed Saleh Al-Arousi, a conscript in the 135th Brigade, following verbal altercations between him and the Saudis.
