Yemeni forces strike Israel’s “Nevatim” airbase, shoot down US MQ-9 drone

SANAA, Nov. 08 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces have carried out a special military operation targeting the “Nevatim” airbase in the Negev region of southern occupied Palestine. They also downed a US MQ-9 drone in the skies over Al-Jawf province early this morning.

“The operation was carried out using a hypersonic ballistic missile, ‘Palestine 2,’ which successfully reached its target, thanks to God,” said Brigadier General Yahya Sarie,” Yemen’s military spokesman, in a statement delivered during a mass rally in the capital, Sanaa.

In the same context, Yemen’s air defenses succeeded in shooting down an American MQ-9 drone while it was carrying out hostile missions over Al-Jawf Governorate at dawn today.

“With this downing, the number of American drones that have been shot down by the Yemeni air defenses since the beginning of the ‘battle of the promised conquest’ and Holy Jihad reached 12,” Sarie explained.

These operations, he noted, are in support of the Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and are a direct response to the ongoing American, British, and Israeli aggression against Yemen.

The Armed Forces reiterated their unwavering support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, maintaining the naval blockade on the Israeli enemy, as well as conducting military operations and countering all hostile threats.

They emphasized that these operations will continue until the aggression stops, the blockade on the Gaza Strip is lifted, and the aggression against Lebanon comes to an end.
