Hamas affirms its openness to any proposals to ending aggression

GAZA, Oct. 30 (YPA) – Member of Hamas leaders Sami Abu Zuhri affirmed on Tuesday that “the movement is open to any proposals that lead to ending the aggression on the Gaza Strip.

“We are open to any agreement or ideas that end the suffering of the Palestinian people and cease fire once and for all,” he declared.

Abu Zuhri said in a statement that Hamas responded to the mediators’ request to discuss new proposals regarding a ceasefire agreement,” calling at the same time for imposing an immediate lifting of the siege on the Gaza Strip.”

“The enemy continues to commit massacres against our people, especially in the north, and deliberately destroys the medical infrastructure and civil defense resources in the Gaza Strip, and arrests more than 600 Palestinians whose fate we have not been known yet,” he added.

The statement pointed out that the Zionist Knesset’s vote to ban the work of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) represents an unjust decision.

It stressed that the Zionist enemy forces have been escalating their military operations against civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the north of the Strip, considering that the escalation amounts to a “genocidal war.”

The statement explained that the enemy targeted and destroyed the capabilities of the Civil Defense, preventing it from carrying out its humanitarian and necessary role in rescuing civilians and treating the damage resulting from the bombing.
