“Jihad Movement” denies allegations of targeting its leader in Damascus

GAZA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine denied on Monday evening allegations by Zionist media about the assassination of its Secretary-General, Ziad al-Nakhalah, in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

The movement said in a statement, “We categorically deny, in full and in detail, what was reported by some enemy media outlets about the assassination of Secretary-General Commander Ziad al-Nakhalah by targeting a car in Damascus on Monday evening.”

Zionist media claimed this evening that the air raid that hit a car in the Mazzeh neighborhood in Damascus was targeting the Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziad al-Nakhalah.

Earlier, a Syrian military source stated that the Zionist enemy launched an air attack targeting a civilian car in Mezzeh, killing two civilians, injuring three others, and causing material damage to private property in the surrounding area.
