United States awards Israeli occupation $8.7 billion in military aid

ALQUDS, Oct.21 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation’s Ministry of Defense had receive $8.7 billion in military aid from the United States to support its military efforts, coinciding with Tel Aviv’s continuation of its attack on Lebanon.

The ynet news agency quoted the ministry as saying: “The aid includes $3.5 billion to finance the purchase of vital supplies for the war and $5.2 billion for the air defense systems, Iron Dome, David’s Arrow, and the laser system.”

“On October 18, Defense Ministry Director Eyal Zamir concluded an agreement in Washington regarding Tel Aviv receiving an American war aid package worth $8.7 billion,” The ministry added.

The ministry’s statement indicated that according to the agreement, the aforementioned amounts and equipment will be delivered in the coming short period.

Earlier, the US Secretary of Defense also announced the completion of the deployment of the THAAD anti-missile system inside the occupied territories.
