PARIS, Oct. 16 (YPA) – The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation revealed that the French government decided not to allow Israeli companies to participate in the international naval defense exhibition “Euronaval,” scheduled to be held in Paris next month.
The decision comes amid increasing criticism at the international scene regarding the continuation of the Israeli occupation war in Gaza since October 7, 2023, and the recent escalation in southern Lebanon, where the French President recently called on countries not to export weapons to “Israel.”
On the other hand, the “Euronaval” exhibition is one of the largest and most important maritime defense exhibitions in the world, as it is held every two years in the French capital, Paris, and brings together hundreds of international companies specializing in maritime defense technology.
Israeli companies rely on international exhibitions to market their products, and Euronaval is a major platform to reach new customers, especially in European markets.
