UAE funds African mercenaries to fight with Israeli occupation in Gaza

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – The UAE is financing the recruitment of mercenaries from African countries to fight with the Israeli occupation army in its ongoing wars on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

Diplomatic sources familiar win the matter Emirates Leaks that the plan to bring in mercenaries focuses particularly on Ethiopia, which has witnessed the recruitment of hundreds of mercenaries to fight in the ranks of the Israeli occupation army since the end of last year.

The sources explained that Abu Dhabi has exploited its close relations with the government in Ethiopia in order to support the Israeli occupation by bringing mercenaries from a number of countries in the Horn of Africa.

According to the sources, the UAE is strategically allied with the Israeli occupation by providing various forms of support programs in complete secrecy and bringing mercenaries of different nationalities.

“The UAE considers the Israeli occupation wars on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon to be a common strategic interest for it, and urges Tel Aviv in all forms to continue fighting against the Palestinian Hamas movement and the Lebanese Hezbollah in order to completely eliminate them,” the same sources added.

It is well known that the Israeli occupation widely employs thousands of mercenary fighters contracted with private military companies to perform military services, some of which are linked to indirect support for the war on Gaza.

The UAE provides the necessary financial support to international companies specialized in contracting mercenaries and then bringing them to “Israel”, such as “Raven” and “Global CST”, which are two private military companies contracted by the Israeli occupation army to employ mercenaries to carry out military missions.

More than 700 Israeli officers and soldiers have been killed since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.
