SANAA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Yemen is witnessing a sudden change in the weather conditions expected during the next 24 hours, as a result of the entry of cold weather, according to the National Center for Meteorology’s forecasts.
The forecasts affirmed that the weather would be clear to partly cloudy with scattered rain in parts of the provinces of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Rayma, Hodeida, Hajjah and Saada, in addition to parts of the Mahweet and Dhalea.
The center noted that the winds are moderate in speed around the Socotra Archipelago, ranging in speed between 10-20 knots, and light to moderate in speed on the rest of the coasts.
It warned citizens in areas where rainfall may be expected to be avoided in valleys and flood paths during and after rainfall.
