11 Palestinians injured in Zionist drone strike on displaced people in Deir al-Balah

GAZA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – Eleven Palestinian citizens, including children and journalists, were injured in a Zionist drone strike targeting tents for displaced persons inside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

A medical source from the hospital reported that the injured received immediate treatment amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions due to the ongoing assaults by the occupation.

In another development, paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that several injuries were transported after the occupation bombed a home belonging to the Abu Ajwa family on Al-Shuja’iyya Street in eastern Gaza City.

The injured were taken to the Baptist Hospital in the city for treatment, as airstrikes continued in various areas of the Gaza Strip.

In a related context, an Israeli airstrike targeted the eastern area of Gaza City as part of the ongoing aggression against the strip that began on October 7, 2023.
