GAZA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – The al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced this morning, Monday, that they had targeted military positions and troop concentrations of the Israeli enemy in the southern Gaza envelope.
“Al-Qassam Brigades bombarded the “Sofa” military site and enemy gatherings at the Rafah land crossing, near the “Holit” settlement, and the operations center of the “Kerem Shalom” military site with a number of Rajoom 114mm rockets,” the group said in a statement this morning .
The Brigades noted that this action coincided with the one-year anniversary of the launch of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Today marks the first anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, during which the al-Qassam Brigades stormed all Israeli military sites and dozens of settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
The enemy acknowledged that more than 1,600 soldiers and settlers were killed, and over 70,000 were injured since the start of the battle.
