Yemeni armed forces shoot down “MQ-9” drone in Saada, US army admits

SANAA, Sept. 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni Armed Forces in Sanaa announced the downing of an American “MQ_9” aircraft while conducting hostile missions in the airspace of Saada province during the past hours.

The Yemeni Armed Forces statement said that this aircraft is the eleventh of this type that the Yemeni air defenses have succeeded in downing during this battle.

The statement confirmed that this operation comes within the battle of the promised conquest and the holy jihad in support of the Al-Aqsa Flood and in victory for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.

The US army admitted the downing of an MQ-9 drone without providing further details, according to the Associated Press.
