BEIRUT, Sept. 24 (YPA) – At least six people were killed and 15 others wounded in an initial toll of an Israeli air strike on a residential building in the southern suburb of Beirut on Tuesday, Lebanese media sources reported.
The sources explained that an Israeli hostile raid targeted the Ghobeiry area in the southern suburb of Beirut, noting that ambulance teams were trying to reach the civilians present in the targeted building.
According to the sources, the raid destroyed three floors of the targeted residential building, noting that it was an inhabited building consisting of six floors.
It was the second Israeli attack against the suburb in less than 24 hours, as part of its ongoing aggression against various Lebanese regions and villages in the Bekaa and the south.
This comes in conjunction with the ongoing, violent, and widespread Israeli occupation aggression against various towns and villages in the Bekaa and the South of Lebanon, which led to the death of 558 martyrs, in addition to the injury of 1,835 people since Monday morning until now.
